Confederate Arms Longarms and Pistols History of Colt Revolver 3 Vintage Reference Books

Three essential Books for any collector of antique guns, armaments, or fans of Civil War or military history. "Confederate Arms" by Willaim Albaugh and Edward Simmons, 1st edition, 2nd printing, 1960, in very good condition, covering handguns, shoulder arms, edged weapons, armories and accoutrement, with a directgory of "Makers, Gunsmiths, Dealers..." etc. The cover is dirty from years of handling, but inside is clean with no foxing. "Confederate Longarms and Pistols: A Pictorial Study" by Richard Hill and William Anthony is in fine condition, and is an author's copy, bearing the bookstamp of Anthony. (Anthony provided the text, while Hill was the photographer.) Fine to Very Fine condition, first edition, 1978. Finally, "A History of the Colt Revolver, from 1836 to 1940," by Haven and Belden and published in 1940 (I'm guessing it's a first edition, but the "this edition published by Bonanza Books", via Crown, via William Morrow, makes me wonder if there weren't multiple "first editions" of the same text (i.e., some "special" ones, meant for Colt's own purposes, a mass-market version as we have here, etc.). Regardless, it's in good condition, with rubbing to the outside library bound cover, some browning on the end pages (which are of plain paper stock, whereas the pages are heavy glossy stock, with no foxing). Three great vintage military history/gun collector/Civil War antiques titles, in one bundle!
