1902 Arts and Crafts Schubert Pyrography Piano Bench Signed and Dated

A simply amazing pyrography decorated Arts and Crafts piano bench, covered in Schubert iconography, with a portrait, and signed and dated on the base, by A. Lorie Flint, Oct. 1902. Trestle construction with mortise and tenon through-joints, absolutely prototypical for Arts and Crafts furniture, but the pyrography puts it in another league altogether. Various repairs (screw plates for support), Schubert's face has been sat upon so often that he's grown faint, but you can still make out his spectacles!, fantastic chipwork around the edges.... You'll never find another! 38 inches by 20 by 18; shipping is a FedEx estimate, and any major overages will have to be dealt with beforehand.
