A very cool folk art carving of a horse, from the neck up, in ... pine?. It's not labeled and isn't a work of "fine art," per se, but the carver was clearly talented and it shows in the rough-hewn but exact and lifelike details. The wood base is highly figured, the whole is steady and well-balanced, and it would be a fine addition to any horse lover's collection, Southwestern styled decor, or just anything that needs a cool horse to fill that decorative void. 11x6x4 inches, no breaks (ears intact!), and comes with a small hand-carved hound dog, 'cause horses need friends.
