A beautiful Impressionist style oil painting of an Appalachian logo cabin, surrounded by trees and with a rose bush in bloom, in an ornate silver gesso and wood frame. 21 by 16 inches framed, painting is 16 by 22 inches, oil on artist's board. Looks like 1970s from the board, initiated JB, but no other signature. My wife thinks the frame is too much; I think it works great! It's a very good frame. Almost certainly Northwest North Carolina.
