Pairpoint Silver Plated Cabbage Leaf Squirrel Nut Dish Large Art Nouveau Bowl

A cool oversized nut dish in the form of a curled cabbage leaf with a squirrel perched on the end, resting on four rosebud shaped feet. Quadruple-plated, made by Pairpoint of Indiana; some loss to the silver, particularly on the inside of the bowl, but overall good shape and polishes up nicely (and if it's full of nuts, you won't see the bottom of the bowl anyway!) 11.5 inches long, 7.5 across, and the squirrel perched on the rim of the cabbage leaf, who also serves as the handle, is particularly sweet. A nice aesthetic movement-slash-art-nouveau piece of silver, sure to delight anyone with an affinity for squirrels. Or nuts.
