Vintage Eagle Rag Can Heavy Metal Fire Proof Container Auto Shop Classic

A very nice Eagle shop oil rag can, used to hold dirty rags that might (and sometimes do) spontaneously combust. A garage classic, cleaned up (as shown in the first photos) and fully functional; the lid pops up when you step on it, nothing loose, minor scratches and paint loss, appropriate for its age and past life but in fine overall condition, as the photos show. Very heavy gauge steel, as you would expect. A must-have for any vintage garage collection, and still useful! Just empty it every night; I've seen photos of several that weren't emptied, and the tops are toast. Probably kept the building from burning down, though.
