A nice, oversized cast brass bookend in the form of a gazelle, with gracefully curving horns and glass (or stone?) eye inserts. Larger than the usual form, at nearly 12 inches tall by 9 deep. Set on a plinth that's missing the felt bottom; no indication of the origin, but feels like 1960s or 70s and has a Hollywood Regency feel to the design, with heavy Art Deco flavor as well. A loner, but a nice example that will add a curvy flair to any bookshelf!
