Mahogany Side Tables Mersman Brothers Regency Style Two-tiered Accent Tables Plant Stands 28x18

An absolutely classic pair of mid-century mahogany barrel top regency style side tables by Mersman Brothers, in excellent condition. Recently tightened up, solid as they get, no wobbles. 28 inches tall by 18 across. One has a minor dark ring that could be sanded out; minor loss to some leg brackets, missing original foot pads, and very minor loss to the fret work. Really in as good a shape as you'll find, and a matching pair, with partial labels and numbers on the base. Circa 1935. No scratches or loss. From one of the most prolific and innovative furniture makers of the mid-century era, but a delicate form that rarely survived (it probably didn't help that they were sold as plant stands; please don't!)
