An early American pressed glass compote or candy bowl, circa 1885 by the Harris Glass Company. It's getting a little violet with age, which is subtle and hard to photograph. One fleabite on the base, and a couple of firing flaws, including a bubble in the glass. There are minor scratches to the bowl from use, but they don't detract from the old, wavy glass. In the popular daisy and button Bertholdi pattern. A lovely and useful addition to any EAPG collection.
