An absolutely spectacular and strikingly proportioned Morris chair salesman's sample rocker, circa 1900-1910, with original leather seat (which has been re-tacked at some point, long ago) and in pristine condition. Quite simply the best available example, quarter-sawn oak, thick patent leather, rocks like a dream. As fine as you'll find, and priced below cost (so it isn't going to get any cheaper; I'll happily keep it if I'm "forced" to do so.) If you're a fan of the Arts and Crafts movement, Stickley, Roycroft, et al., this would be the crown jewel of your collection.
