Antique moonshine or whiskey barrel 16 inches by 12 late 19th/early 20th century

Antique 16 inch whiskey cask (or more likely corn liquor, given its North Carolina history). It's 12 inches across at the widest point, and 10 across the top and base. Missing one hoop at the base, so likely not watertight, but solid. (I hammered the hoops into place.) Some rust damage to one or two hoops, but not structurally significant (pictured). A great antique barrel, perfect as a statement piece, table base or what-have-you... Shown next t o s pumpkin for reference; it's a regular sized pumpkin if that helps
