Antique heavy split oak harvest basket, likely an old orchard survivor, with a metal rivet in the base (clearly made as a workhorse of a basket) and attaching the handle. Old splint repair to the bottom (just some newly woven strips, as shown). A foot tall with the handle down, 17 inches up, and 12 inches across the top. Looks mid-20th century.
