Vintage Industrial Fire Hose Reel Striking Decorative Architectural Piece c. 1950s

Very nice vintage industrial reel, presumably for a fire hose, with original green paint (and red accents), works/turns great and fully functional. On a sturdy, bent hollow steel frame; components of the reel itself are all solid steel or iron (except the knob, which may be zinc or something similar). 1940s or '50s? Made in Pennsylvania. Rust commensurate with age, but nothing beyond superficial, and a quick blast of paint would make it look like new. Perfect as a dumbwaiter! Or make a hypno-wheel! Or just as a great piece if architectural decor, also, too. But a hypno-wheel sounds really cool. Shown with about fifty feet of leather rope and the best 18th century burlwood well hook in America (nfs, unless you recognize it for what it is and want to make an offer) and it barely begins to fill the reel.
