Large Rockingham Glaze Art Pottery Vase hand thrown amazing yellow and brown color

Is this the best iteration of something resembling a Rockingham glaze ever? I say yes; prove me wrong. I've puzzled over this one for years, passing it in a shop because the base looked industrial and "not North Carolina," but then I picked it up and looked more closely (and brought it home). If Rockingham has a "best in show," this is it. It's very finely hand turned, tall, and the color contrast is amazing. Whar from? Whodunit? No clue, but I'm reminded that several prominent NC potters worked up North, and maybe it's part of that pottery diaspora. Too good to be a production piece, machine-looking base aside (just the wheel type I'm sure). Flare to the collar. Daffodils never looked so good as when they're in this vase. Mint, with some glaze skips.
