A lovely polychrome painted highly turned lamp post or shaft, circa 1915, ideal for conversion into a linear chandelier (imagine a half-dozen teardrop lights descending from this piece) as it's already drilled and ready to go, at 49.5 inches long. It has an amazing weeping gold-style pattern on either side of the center; it's a masterpiece of wood turning, as I can't even imagine how they pulled that off. Some minor wear and paint loss, but overall very good shape. It would also be perfect as a pot-hook hanger over a kitchen island, or any number of other projects.... Ships in a tube.
